Flash Forward- What do you see?

November 1, 2009
By Amanda Walton

Can you see your future 6 months from now? Probably not, but do you ever close your eyes and think about what it would be like 6 months from today? I do and submitted my vision into the mosaic collective what May 1 2010 may look for me. Help make a world mosaic piece by piece of where you see yourself in 6 months and find out in 6 months.. did it come true. Can we control our fate if we plan enough time in advance? Find out for yourself and read others future predictions in the Mosaic collective.

Flash Forward,  we don’t miss an episode, it’s one of those shows you either love it or you don’t. Those who love the Sci Fi of ‘What would YOU do if’ will love this new series.

Last week’s episode gave us new clues to the who, what, where, when, but not the Why and How.

In last weeks episode, Olivia gets a shock when she walks into her home to find her husband Mark and her Flash Forward new love Lloyd sitting in the livingroom together. Until this point Lloyd didn’t know it was Olivia whom he heard in his own Flash Forward on that fateful day of September 24/09 for 2 minutes and 17 seconds when the world blacked out.

Upon looking around and recognizing the room he then knew Olivia was the woman in his future but Mark also realized it was Lloyd who would soon to become the man in Olivia’s flash forward. Question is.. can this flash forward be altered so Mark doesn’t loose Olivia to Lloyd?

When Lloyd was introduced to the cast I knew he had to have something to do with the cause of the world black out and at the end of last weeks episode this was confirmed when Simon a new character to the show was introduced. Simon introduces himself as a genius in quantum mechanics to a beautiful blond he meets on a train to L.A. and offers up his theory of what caused the black out. Although the woman he meets is interested in his theory Simon first uses a charming line on her but when she doesn’t seem to impressed he uses some scientific terminology on her to throw her off the subject, instead he ends up in bed with her on the train recalling his flash forward of strangling an unknown man. I guess his first line of action worked more then she initially thought it would, either that or all the science mumble jumble of quantum physics turned her on to him.

Janis ends up in surgery after the Mosaic team has an attempted assassination on them from masked gunmen right after Stanford, Director of the L.A. F.B.I. field office black mails the President into continuing to fund the Mosaic investigation. Who ordered the hit is the next question to be answered.

Janis finds out after complications she may not be able to ever have children, something she never had plans for as an F.B.I. agent and has not found her life partner, although her flash forward six months from that fateful day she sees herself lying on an examination table getting an ultrasound, very much pregnant. How could this be? Has recent events turned the table on her fate, could she be facing a new future? If turning of events can change what is seen in their flash forward is possible, this should ease Demetri’s mind since he saw nothing and nothing in the flash forward theory can mean one scary fate… death.

Don’t miss this weeks episode to get more clues to piece together what this flash forward is really all about, scientific phenomenon accidentally caused by a man made unintentional mistake, or a man made experiment intentionally released to play God?

If you’ve missed the past episodes you can watch them in full on the ABC website. Flash Forward is on Thursday nights at 8/7 and on some networks a repeat of the nights episode at 11pm.
