Two great icons of my generation passing today had so many millions of people stop in their tracks and reflect on what they each meant in our individual lives.

The beautiful Farrah Fawcett filled with life, innocence and a smile that will now light up the Heavens and Micheal Jackson, a person despite if you were a hardcore fan or not, feels the shock with his sudden death, leaving us with many questions to be answered, and life lessons we can all learn from.

We all have our favourite songs and memories of the forever to be remembered King of Pop, Michael Jackson. A person I grew up with as his songs echo so many of my childhood memories.

Before he was the King of Pop, he was a Prince to Peace with his angelic voice and the innocence of a child’s heart and soul, a child’s heart and soul he never wanted to let go of. This is the Michael I’ll always remember and a song that always brings tears streaming down my face.

We can and have all criticized Michael Jackson at one time or another for his odd behaviors in his adult years but those who criticize the most, all had the ability to experience a normal childhood and never walked a mile in his shoes.

Michael Jackson’s child voice never died, and he kept his promise as he did in this song, ‘just call my name and I’ll be there’, and he did as he was always there expressing his gratitude and love to his fans when they called his name.

It was God’s time to reach out his hand and call on two very well known in North America and around the world Farrah and Michael as it was time to return home, and they both responded, “I’ll be there”

Dear Farrah Fawcett, I admired you as a child, and learned as I grew, a smile is worth a thousand more.

Dear Michael Jackson, We pray you find in Heaven what you couldn’t find on Earth — Peace and Fulfillment because now you’re in a place where you’ll never get old, never hurt, and where you’re accepted with love for who you are on the inside, not based on how you look on the outside.

Peace to you both and to your family, friends and fans who will miss your presence on earth but the legacy you left will keep your spirit close to our hearts forever.
