Increasing customer service and traffic in the blogosphere can be time consuming and confusing with the question on every business owners mind, where do we go to find the best blogger for our $$$

Tired of searching, Search (engines) no more…

And this is why
With a different meaning to many people, the styles, themes design and written presentation are a very important attribute in an effective blog to represent a company with creative, energetic and positions on a business.

Blogs are becoming the new way of individual company newsletters, replacing the email newsletter which has proven to be somewhat of a hindrance with the amount of images that need to be displayed on a promotion in one letter many times ending up in the junk mail of an email folder.

Company blogs have become the website extension with the need of frequent updates to keep your customer base interactive and never get left behind or lost in the hustle of the busy internet world. A well versed copywriter can make all the difference to your site from reader interest to a SEO copywriter that drives the search engine traffic you’re waiting for to boost sales as a local business or global business, words can be powerful, passion in a copywriter makes the difference.

Northern Ads works on innovative answers to your promotional needs.

More About Us

business card

Northern Ads Nabweekly started as a home-based, internet blogging advertising and promotional company, located in Innisfil. Ontario.

As we began our Research and Development into the advertising/promotions industry we decided to take our business on the road, traveling while promoting many products and services without cost along the way in 2008.

In February 2009 we have settled in Fort Erie, Ontario to continue Northern Ads as a home based business as the company came together and broadened on a larger scale as we continued our Research and Development as a 21st Century business.

Our advertising and promotional’ primary marketing tool will be with the use of what I like to call Blog-E-Ture and Design.

Blogging can be used similar to what a newspaper or magazine would offer with a similar look of a website but with the potential for a larger target market based on blog articles written, reader interest and easier to reach subscribers while gaining market reach through internet blogging communication and social networking tools.

The subscribers to Nabweekly use RSS feeds to (Real Simple Syndication) indicate an updated post they are interested in whether it is a written article on a specific subject or on products/services affiliated or use Northern Ads for their current promotions.

As Founder and President of Northern Ads my 25 years experience in, hospitality management, customer services and sales positions along with advertising and promotional experience developed through customer service representation has been my greatest asset to my creativeness and dedication for all things Northern Ads.

Ron Gaston, General Business Manager/Blog Consultant and Design 25 + years in management positions overseeing sales, employees, deadline, customer service, company promotions among many other  managerial duties brings to Northern Ads and Nabweekly as the General Manager a strong understanding of business relations.

Ron continued his education throughout to gain experience in business of the future and also brings 10 years experience in IT management and 3 years full time in blogging design and consulting  giving Northern Ads a leading edge in the 21st Century style more companies are continuing to seek.

Our goal is to give consumers an easy source of product and service promotional ads, pass along our favourite links to other blogs and websites for best sources of information and entertainment. Readers can also use their voice and other sources of 21st Century communication to express themselves of their product/service experience through “word of blogging” from the sources they find through Nabweekly blog

Salvation Army

When we work together to give hope today, we give another day of hope for tomorrow

A bit of History of The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army was founded in Canada in 1882, just fifteen years after Confederation. From the beginning, the Army’s goal was simple – to provide spiritual and practical support to society’s most vulnerable. Among various service innovations, The Salvation Army was instrumental, in its early years, in developing the first prisoner parole system and the first Juvenile Detention facility in Canada. The Army was also an early provider of shelter and service to women in crisis and served alongside the Canadian Armed Forces during the Great War and World War II. The Salvation Army continues its critical work to this day, giving direct, compassionate, hands-on service to 1.5 million people each year and restoring hope and dignity to those who might otherwise remain invisible in society.

A bit about our History

In January of 2005 for a New Year’s Resolution my husband and I wanted to come up with an idea for creating our own business. We brainstormed a few ideas but then listing pros and cons of each idea we continued on with our research. On May 10th 2005, I registered my first company G&G Advertising under sole-proprietorship.

We came upon G&G Advertising when an acquaintance approached for some marketing and sales advice regarding his start up business, as he knew of our extensive customer service and sales experience. We listened to his long term goals and started on research for his company and pointed him in the right direction. After we parted ways we realized what our niche was and could form a business doing everything we had passion for, sales, marketing, advertising and creative writing while remaining in the customer service industry, realizing we could combine all these loves into one. We started searching the internet until we came upon a new trend called blogging. At this time we had not heard much about it, after further research we came across an article written May 21, 2004 with the headline “Gates backs blogs for business”.

We started our direct research and created 9 personal blogs with design and graphics as we monitored different ways to get out the buzz on a short story that was written, meanwhile visiting many other bloggers and chatting with them hearing some input on the time spent on blogs and how consumers reacted to blogger opinions on a company over direct media advertising. We found the amount of time spent blogging was as big as when chat rooms became the first trend of the internet. We researched different blogging communities and how links were used to promote other bloggers blogs.

The creativity of many bloggers is quite extensive, many bloggers in the blogosphere showed to have an enormous amount of traffic going through them, ours included. After researching for two years books, magazines and many internet sites and blogs, we were excited to say our following of Bill Gates predictions were right.

We created our first website in March 2006 under Northern Ads titled Blogging for Business after Bill Gates referral to this catch phrase. I registered my second business Northern Ads, the sister company to G&G on September 2007. We started to build our website on our future goals to shape and create blogging for business.

We had our mission statement and some catch phrases but our greatest accomplishment was our slogan: “It’s OUR Business to Make a Difference” a combined mission and vision statement as we feel this applies to all people, so we decided on that play on words while indicating how we view ourselves as business and individuals in our community.

We feel it needs to be everyone’s business to make a difference; it’s all our responsibility as business and society to make a difference.

For Northern Ads to continue to reach our goals we continued on with research and education and started the blog Nabweekly with Nab being taken from the first letters of Northern Ads Blogs.

We were elated when we read an article written in Canada’s SOHO business magazine that read “SMOKE SIGNALS” in their spring 2007 issue. The first paragraph read in large double spaced lettering “CORPORATE BLOGGING is predicted to be the single greatest trend to emerge in the business community since the internet became a standard industry tool a decade ago.”

We knew at that point our dreams of blogging for business was in reach and around the corner but now had to find the best route into the blogging community that peaks interest gives information and entertainment along with raising awareness for programs or charities without intruding into the world of bloggers with unsolicited ads as bloggers are communities geared towards moral ethics giving each other advice, awareness and entertainment in many different aspects of life.
